He was amazing...
And she was amazed...
He and She were 2 totally different person, with different hobbies, different background, different walks of lives..
Fated and destined i shld say..
They met at the most unexpected time n moment...
In both their hearts, they think, "Shld i even talk to him/her in the 1st place?"
It was a decision that changed their lives... dramastically..
A decision that both regretted but loved at the same time..
Life's full of small ironies.. This we have to admit..
They knew each other for 2 years.. But were simply accquaintances, in short, HI-BYE friends.
No second glances were shot and each lead their own lives..
Until tat day....
When he msged her...
There were no motives.. just simple msgs.. A one time thing.
Until they met again in campus... They chatted and laughed as if they knew each other for the longest time ever.
It was time to bid goodbye.. He offered to send her home.. She kindly rejected but he insists on sending her home as it was just a simple gesture that a gentle man shld do.
After much hesitation, she agreed..
The moment she nodded her head.. Their story starts... in a romantic but tragic way..
Along the way, they shared thoughts n stories.. exchanged jokes n laughter..
They were so immersed into the conversation.. that they lost their way..
They went round the whole of Singapore.. missing exits by exits..
They turned left when they were supposed to go right..
They U-turn, when they shld go straight..
It was simply coincidence.. Until finally.. he found the way...
He dropped her off, she thanked him and went off w/o thinking that something amiss might be going on.
After she got off, he stayed in his car.. He got the weirdest feeling ever.. It had been so long since he felt that way.. What is that feeling like? He wasn't sure.. He allow that feeling to linger in his mind and meanwhile he drove off..
Minutes passed... Days passed..
Until one fine day.. He msged her again..
Asking how's life for her and showed concern..
She replied.. n hundreds.. thousands.. millions of msgs were sent in the shortest time ever..
He started calling and they chatted happily over the phone..
To her, no feelings were involved..
To him, he wasn't very sure of himself..

Days passed.. They met and chatted over a cup of tea..
He told her his story.. She listened n gave advice..
They were like the best of friends..
Until one day.. when something that shouldn't be the topic of their conversation.. became the topic for their rest of the conversations...
He shldn't and cant like her..
She shldn't and cant like him..
They are in no position to do that and they agreed..
Even though they agreed, they did not make any effort to stop that from happening..
It was hard to say NO.. They both realised..
And when they realised the need to do something abt it, things had got out of hand..
It was simply too late...
The worst had arrived..
They confessed.. and ever since that confession, no laughter were heard..
They argued even before they even started..
He was jealous of him..
She was jealous of her..
There was simply nothing he/she can do to make he/she feel better..
Deep inside, they wanted all these to stop, to stop falling deeper, to reduce the hurt to its minimum.
However, the harder they try.. The deeper they fall..
Until the fateful day when they agreed that its time to stop everything before it really started..
They both agreed with tears in their eyes and since then.. They stopped all contacts..
She tried to forget... To carry on with her life..
But it was hard.. She cant erased the memories of him in her mind.. She wanted so much to but it was impossible..
Thats it.. She's suffering..
She made the decision of her life.. She regretted immediately.. But there was nothing she can do about it.. Instead of lying to him.. she told him the truth..
Ever since that day, they each lead their own lives..
He din call.. din msg... She din call.. din msg..
Until one rainy day when she was walking home int he rain, he called.. The name flashing on her phone was so familiar yet so distant.. She let it ring for a few more times before she gathered the courage to flip her phone..
"Hello....." She said..
"Hi..." He replied..
He sounded so close.. yet so far...
She had actually got over him gradually.. But after that call.. All feelings came back almost immediately.
But she told herself... "No.. i cant be that silly anymore.. Its over. He's just my friend."
But deep inside.. Both of them know that its not totally over...
As his bdae was approaching.. She bought him something close to his heart..
Doesn't even cost more than 20 bucks.. but in an instant.. she know he will like it.. love it.
....
They met.. after the longest time ever.. She shook his hand.. wished him happy bitrthday and left almost as fast as she arrived..
He look at her back when she leaves.. Feeling lost..
She... Just wanna leave that place.
At night, he msged her.. Saying how much how much he love the gift and how much she had broke his heart..
She replied.. "I do not wanna fall for u anymore.. Its really hurting. Lets be friends."
As she typed.. tears flowed freely.
He replied, "No matter u choose to like me or not, u are always in my heart.. forever."
She ignored it..
Days passed...
He called.. wanting to meet her..
It was hard to say no.. She accepted..
And once.. history repeat itself again.
They went out as usual.. Laughing.. chatting..
As long as nothing btwn them was discussed, they were happy.. real happy..
And now.. they are again back to square one..
There was this day.. when they talked abt themselves again.
No unhappines at all..
Instead, they recalled.. how amazing it was to have 2 person from each end of the LT to have come together in such a romantic yet tragic way.
HE whispered "I love u.." and hugged her tight..
W/o thinking, she immediately whipered, "I love u too..."
Never had her been so sure of her feelings..
Thats it.. They had fallen too deep.. simply too deeply..
And they had decided.. to just be happy and nothing else..
To go ahead with everything and nothing else..
May all goes well for them and hope they will be together one day.
